About Dr Mustafa Ayhan Balcı
Dr Mustafa Ayhan Balcı has more than 12 years of experience in hair restoration and trichology. Throughout his career, he has worked with patients presenting different patterns, stages and hair textures, including patients with curly and Afro-textured hair.
His approach combines detailed consultation, technical planning and careful management of both the donor and recipient areas. Rather than applying the same method to every patient, he evaluates factors such as hair calibre, curl pattern, follicular density, facial proportions and the expected progression of hair loss before determining the most appropriate treatment strategy.
Dr Balcı has experience with advanced hair transplantation techniques, including Sapphire FUE and DHI. In Afro hair transplant planning, he pays particular attention to donor-area safety, natural curl direction, graft distribution and the angle of placement required for a natural-looking result.
